Thermaculture Portable Wood-Fired Sauna Stove (V2)
Thermaculture Portable Wood-Fired Sauna Stove (V2)
ENGINEERED FOR SERIOUS HEAT. BUILT FOR SACRED RITUALS.
The Thermaculture V3 Portable Wood-Fired Sauna Stove is a serious wood-burning sauna stove built for real heat, authentic connection, and the freedom to sauna wherever life takes you.
Designed in Canada and refined through real-world all-weather use, the V3 delivers 85-100°C sauna temperatures in a compact, portable system. Pair it with a Thermaculture sauna tent or a suitable permanent sauna structure - from the backyard and cabin to the campsite, lakeside, and wild.
REAL SAUNA HEAT
Reaches 85-100+°C in approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on conditions, fuel, and sauna setup. Tested through Canada’s harshest winter conditions, the V3 is built to deliver a properly hot sauna, season after season.
BUILT FOR SERIOUS FIRES
An extra-long 43.4 cm firebox with approximately 30.6 L / 1.08 ft³ of capacity gives you room for substantial fires and longer-burning loads. The extended door lip adds approximately 6 cm of additional log clearance for longer pieces of firewood.
BUILT FOR LÖYLY
The high-capacity stone box holds up to 36 - 72 lbs of sauna stones, providing the thermal mass needed for strong heat retention and rich, satisfying löyly - the steam created when water meets hot sauna stones. Löyly is the spirit of the sauna, and getting it right matters. The V3 is designed with the heat and stone capacity to create the kind of deep, enveloping steam a proper sauna demands.
304 STAINLESS STEEL
Upgraded from 430 steel to high-grade 304 brushed stainless steel, with a clean, unpainted finish designed for high heat, moisture, and repeated outdoor use.
PORTABLE BY DESIGN
Folding legs, collapsible walls, ergonomic handles, and an integrated chimney system allow the stove to pack neatly for transport.
EXTRA-LARGE TEMPERED GLASS DOOR
A generous viewing window brings the fire into the sauna experience, letting you watch the flames and enjoy the glow while you sweat.
Designed, tested, and supported by Thermaculture in Canada. Every iteration is shaped by real use - from backyards and rental fleets to festivals, winter conditions, and the wild.

THE DETAILS
The Sauna Tent
Designed to gather. Engineered to get hot.
The Thermaculture sauna tent balances interior space with thermal efficiency, creating a sauna that feels open and social while still heating fast and evenly — even in winter conditions.
Light the stove, gather your towel and water, get ready — and by the time you step inside, the sauna is already hot, reaching real sauna temperatures (up to 90 - 100 °C) without long wait times.
Compact enough for your trunk, yet designed to perform anywhere — from backyard setups to remote retreats and professional events — without sacrificing heat or comfort. Weighing only 22 lbs, the V2 tent assembles in 15 minutes and comfortably fits 4–5 people.
Built with THERMAWEAVE™ insulated fabric, SBS zippers, and reinforced seams, it delivers triple-layer warmth, weather resistance, and long-term durability. Aluminum poles, thick TPU windows, and secure storm lines ensure reliability through snow, wind, and rain.
Aluminum poles, thick TPU windows, and secure storm lines are built to handle strong wind, cold-weather setup and takedown, and repeated sauna sessions — tested to –42 °C for real-world resilience.
Large panoramic windows flood the space with natural light and views of your surroundings — forest, snow, mountains, or stars — so the sauna feels expansive, grounded, and connected to place. Optional window covers allow you to easily create a more private, enclosed experience when desired.
The Wood-Fired Stove
Compact, powerful, and built for adventure. Crafted from 304 stainless steel with a brushed finish, the stove is engineered for fast, efficient heating and long-term durability.
An extra-large firebox delivers strong, consistent heat, while integrated heat-convector walls circulate warmth evenly throughout the tent — reducing harsh radiant heat and creating a softer, more comfortable sauna experience.
The large glass stove door fills the sauna with a bright, cozy fire glow — grounding the space and making the heat feel alive.
The stove features a compact internal packing system — all chimney pipes fit neatly inside for effortless transport. Load it into your car, camper van, or even check it as luggage — no trailer required. Just you, your fire, and the open road.
Heats up so fast and easy to use!
I am beyond pleased!! Best Sauna Tent EVER!
Not enough good can be said of the thermal culture sauna experience! This sauna is engineered with precision and stands strong against the elements. It holds a therapeutic and intense heat even on a frigidly cold Saskatchewan’s winter day. A few weekends ago I had it set up on the edge of the lake and to pack up and move the sauna came with such ease! The big open windows allowed for stunning views. I absolutely love the stove as it is big enough to fit full length pieces of wood and I appreciate how sturdy the beautiful cedar benches feel. Not only is this sauna absolutely amazing, the customer service is undeniably top notch.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone as it is simply the best!
I absolutely love the stove as it is big enough to fit full length pieces of wood. It packs up nice in the carry bag and it’s amazing that the stove pipe fits so easily within the stove.
We are loving the sauna setup. The ease of use, set up, and temperature control is excellent when using the right wood. I can't say enough good things about the construction and durability of it. We are active people with a slide in camper, ice fishing, and camping so the light weight and bag system is excellent for all our adventures. The weight is easily manageable and we have even been able to camp out of the tent.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
FAQ'S
Do I need a building permit?
No permit is required. Our sauna tents are considered temporary structures and can be set up almost anywhere — in your backyard, beside a lake, or deep in the wild.
Does the sauna tent get as hot as a traditional sauna?
Yes. Our wood-fired stove heats the tent to 80–100 °C (175–212 °F) in about 15–20 minutes — the same temperatures you’d find in a traditional Finnish sauna.
How do you set it up?
Setup takes about 15 minutes with one person. .
Insert the poles into the tent and zip them in place, then stabilize the tent with stakes and guy lines.
Next, assemble the stove by removing the chimney pieces stored inside, unfold the stove legs, and stack the chimney pipes through the stove jack. Once lit, your sauna will reach full heat in 15–20 minutes.
Can the sauna tent stay up permanently?
Yes — it’s built to handle all seasons, including heavy snow. The frame and fabric are engineered for stability and won’t collapse under weight.
We do, however, recommend using a rain cover for UV protection — since the top of the tent is the first area to experience wear over time. For best longevity, set up in a shaded area whenever possible, especially during long summer days.
